What are your previous expierences in textile design? Are you a design student or professional? Tell us about yourself.:
Hello! I am a textile design student currently at Savannah College of Art and Design. My expected graduation date is May 2024.

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to the beauty and versatility of fibers, and how they can be transformed into works of art.

My artistic practice is centered around the exploration of the human experience and how we connect with the world around us. Through the use of color, texture, and pattern, I create pieces that are both visually striking and emotionally resonant, conveying a range of emotions and ideas. My work is deeply influenced by my own experiences and memories, as well as by the natural world and the various cultures and traditions that I have encountered throughout my life.

In my creative process, I am always experimenting with different techniques and materials, from screenprinting and weaving to knitting and crocheting.

I believe that the key to creating compelling textile art lies in the ability to combine traditional techniques with contemporary design and push the boundaries of what is possible with fibers. Whether I am working on a large-scale installation or a small, intricate piece, my goal is always to create a connection with my audience and to inspire a sense of wonder and curiosity.

My pattern collection“Dreamscape Shift” embodies a spirit that

resonates with those who dare to be different. Combining textural elements and two colorways, this pattern collection embraces individuality with unapologetic boldness.

“Dreamscape Shift” inspires us to blur the lines between reality and fantasy. This collection was made with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop!

I love these patterns so much because they have such interesting stories and layers that can be made into anything.
